Come get an introduction to Archery with Let's Go Outdoors! Let's Go Outdoors has teamed up with Friends of the Wissahickon to offer fun, free outdoor activities for the whole family! Each event will take place on Saturdays from 10:30AM-12:30PM. Check out our page for more events all around Philadelphia. Let's Go Outdoors is offering one-hour "Explore Archery" programs at Awbury Arboretum. Attendees will experience the basics of archery, from learning proper form, to safety on the range, and of course, learning to use a bow and arrow to hit a target. This is a general introduction to archery for individuals and families. Archery is an exciting sport that can build coordination skills, allows growth and improves confidence. Let's Go Outdoors offers archery for the sport, not for the purpose of hunting. Struggling with what to do outdoors?  We've got you covered!  With our enthusiastic and diverse guides, provided supplies and equipment, plus beginner level adventures, you can put your worries aside and join us outdoors (or indoors in poor weather)!  We host trips, neighborhood activities, trips, tours of environmental sites, as well as individual and family "adventures." So, get your pack ready (or not, since we've got supplies covered), find your favorite water bottle and select your Let's Go Outdoors activity.
