The Living Room Wellness Center will be celebrating it's Grand Re-opening and ribbon cutting ceremony. On August 19, 2021 the Independence Center in partnership with Lake County’s Sheriff’s Office and the State attorney’s office are excited to announce the expansion of the Living Room Wellness Center, an innovative support center for those living with mental health issues or substance use disorders that is a critical component of Lake County’s ongoing effort to safely reduce our local jail population.
