Description

Award-winning high school classical pianist Michael Bostock performs. Michael is the recent winner of the Biennial Ocy Downs piano competition. He has been playing piano for eight years and studies classical piano under Naydene Bowder. He also plays in several ensembles. Michael will perform all movements of Beethoven’s Pathetique, Shostakovich’s 4 Preludes, and works by Mendelssohn. Michael is currently a sophomore at Waynflete School in Portland, Maine, where he enjoys Nordic skiing, track, and tennis. The Portland Conservatory of Music is a nonprofit community music school for all ages and abilities located in Portland, Maine.
