Join family and friends as we celebrate the life of our beloved Linda Mahoney. Linda Louise Mahoney (Age 73) Of Silver Spring, MD passed away suddenly on Monday, March 8, 2021. She was preceded in death by her wife, Edith Miller. Linda received her Juris Doctor at The American University and recently retired from Ernst & Young's General Counsel's Office in Washington, DC. She was a longtime women's activist, dedicating her life to raising awareness for pay equity, equal rights, and human rights, serving on the steering committee for the Women's Legislative Briefing, the Maryland Legislative Agenda for Women and the Maryland Women's Heritage Center. She was also the Chair of the Maryland Harriet Tubman Statue Commission, President Emerita of Maryland NOW, and was a member of the Montgomery County Democratic Central Committee. Linda is survived by two sons, Bill Whitecotton of Phoenix, Arizona and David Whitecotton of Quebec, Canada, siblings, Gary Mahoney, Carol Mahoney, John Mahoney, Joy Staab, Faith Pourkeveh, and Jill Mahoney. _____________________________________ Masks Required – Large Theatre Seating Accommodates Social Distancing* RSVP Appreciated to Susan Horst * Due to the new city mask mandate, face coverings are mandatory for all visitors to Rockville facilities.
