Description

(Almost) Everything you wanted to know about managing Federal and State grants and Award management in EBS. (Almost) Everything you wanted to know about managing Federal and State grants. From the notice of receipt of grant funding, to the review of grant documents, the establishment of an award in the financial system, the management of installments, funding and budgets and eventually to close out, this course provides a comprehensive look at optimal management of federal and state assistance. We will review the various types of awards received by King County, how they differ and how they should be managed. Part II will pick up where Part I left off. Both parts are meant to be taken in succession and the content is completely different where Part I frames award management and financial reporting where Part II takes a deep dive into federal and state award and project set up, budgeting and the like.
