No one should fear to do what they love! Join our hands on class to learn techniques to stay safe when hiking/biking/running on the trails Join us for this seminar with expert instructors where we will learn techniques to fight back and stay safe on the trails. RSVP now, spaces are limited!! Feel free to invite friends and share with other ladies you love so they can also learn to defend themselves and run with confidence! The self defense techniques in this class will be primarily Krav Maga, which is an Israeli self defense art. It is very practical for everyday people to defend themselves against attackers. You will learn basic strikes, kicks, and escapes from common attacks and situational awareness to hopefully avoid being in a dangerous situation in the first place! There is a $15 fee to reserve your spot, $10 for L2S members and current program participants. Two different date/time options are available to accommodate your schedule. 100% of the fees go directly to Premier to help continue offering these amazing community programs at cost. About Premier Martial Arts: At Premier Martial Arts, we teach a mixed curriculum of Krav Maga, Muay Thai, Karate, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. We are passionate about giving teens and adults skills that are applicable to real-world situations to keep them safe, while having fun and getting fit in the process! Vivian began training Krav Maga several years ago, training with some of the country's top instructors in New York City. She has put together a curriculum combining the most relevant parts of Krav Maga, kickboxing, grappling, and math (yes, math!) to give a well-rounded beginning self defense class that will benefit both women with and without prior martial arts experience. Mike has 30 years martial arts experience. He is a 5th degree black belt and national champion in Taekwondo. His experience also includes Muay Thai kickboxing, and he is currently a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. L2S organizes courses, clinics and events focusing on skills and fitness based curriculum to help educate, encourage and empower women to experience outdoor adventures and sports like trail running, snowshoeing, mountain biking, standup paddleboarding and more.
