Drivers On Call/ Shop/ office Help- For Film/Television

Looking for some folks with roots in the pioneer valley. Very flexible work schedule (or possible full time work available) We are a Film/Television Lighting and grip rental house.. providing film crew and gear throughout the northeast.(www.FastLights.com) Sometimes we are slammed off the charts, other times we have nothing on the board. When slammed...we often need help to deliver and pick up gear throughout the northeast. Must have an excellent driver's record, able to lift heavy gear with a smile, and love books on tape for the long drives. Beyond that, looking for someone (perhaps retired or Vo-tech student) that would like a steady Part-time work for two days a week, preferably weekends, but we are flexible. Must be mechanically inclined. Half decent carpentry / mechanical/ handy man/ woman skills. Duties would include.. loading and unloading gear (when needed), cleaning trucks, keeping the shop tidy and everything in place, dealing with recycling, fixing gear, snow removal, general property maintenance...etc. s Hoping for a long term engagement... Might also have one day a week available for House Keeper Lawn maintenance/ gardener/ live stock type person to help keep the yard, garden, offices, and bathrooms tidy and clean, and take care of our Reindeer (for hand-milked ice cream experimentation ) Add to that, got a ton of things to sell on ebay... endless brain work for folks into permaculture, agroforestry, raising reindeer, Compressed Earth Block, Natural building, pre-industrial age ecovillages (as part of a feature-length script and business plan we have in the works involving 1600 acres in the foothills of the Adirondacks) And since I am phucking rambling, and really don't give a flying rat's ass how this reads... (as it is a modification of a previous add a more sensible person had written for us, if you want to help us create a production company doing Micro budget shows focusing on "Content that matters", by all means please touch base. Sense the IPCC (International Panel on Climate Control) just cried out Code Red.. we sure and shit may as well focus our energy on building a brand that is known for making Content that aims to make a difference in the world.
