A Myconian themed fundraising gala inspired by "Mamma Mia," featuring a 90-minute concert from DANCING DREAM Tribute to ABBA. Shining Studios Organization, Inc. proudly presents: THE AEGEA GALA Inspired by the beloved music from ABBA and the hit Broadway Show, Mamma Mia!, we invite you to join us for our annual fundraising gala as we raise money for Shining Studios 2.0. Throughout the pandemic, Shining has been committed to safely prolonging our mission of education, enrichment, and entertainment through the performing arts by holding outdoor classes and producing 8 full-scale outdoor musicals. Unfortunately, we made the very difficult decision to forfeit our lease at 18 Haven Avenue, but look forward to building out our fabulous new studio space at 12 Irma Avenue in Port Washington. All proceeds raised will go towards project Shining 2.0, our new rehearsal studio and office space at 12 Irma Avenue. Honoring: Kimberly and Darren Kimball for their continued support of Shining Studios and the arts in Port Washington. Schedule of Events: 6:00pm - Cocktail Hour 7:00pm - Presentation and Dinner 8:00pm - 90-minute concert: DANCING DREAM Abba Tribute Band 9:30pm - Dance Party with DJ Spyro **Open bar and Greek Food Trucks will be availabe all night from 7:00pm - 11:00pm** Myconian Chic Attire (or come dressed as ABBA!) **NOTE: All guests must show proof of vacinnation upon arrival.** Founded in 2015, and located in the heart of Port Washington, Shining Studios, winner of 2019 BEST OF LI is the premier theater school for children and teenagers in Nassau County's Gold Coast.  With a mission to educate, enrich, and empower the youth through the performing arts, Shining Studios produces ten full-scale musical theater productions a year, offers classes to hundreds of students of all ages, and provides private training, including audition prep for all ages. Shining Studios also hosts arts-centered community events including karaoke parties, open mic nights, cabarets, and more.
