EPC has an opportunity at the Stafford, Texas facility for an IT Field Representative/Driver: Role Description: •Promptly respond to job requests •Work and communicate professionally with the customer and headquarters •Identify equipment to be removed from customer’s facility •Confidentially and accurately wipe data from hard drives •Make pick-ups and deliveries using a 26’ standard transmission box truck •Pack and wrap equipment on pallets for shipping and load trucks with pallets •Load/unload trucks, pack/unpack, wrap skids, and move computer equipment •Help with work in the warehouse when not driving Requirements: Education •High school diploma or equivalent •Valid Class C (Operator) driver’s license Experience •Previous experience in a warehouse environment (especially the preparation and packing of equipment skids) •Experience in completing and maintaining bills of lading and driver's log books, packaging and transporting computer assets and devices •Experience driving 26’ or larger trucks •Must have a clear driving record (no accidents and no more than 2 minor moving violations within the last 24 months) Personal Skills •Skilled with Windows based programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook •Ability to operate moving equipment in a safe and efficient manner •Must be able to speak clearly and interact with clients and co-workers professionally •Must be detail-oriented •Must be able to work under time constraints to complete tasks •Must be well groomed and have a neat appearance Physical •Must obtain U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) certification within first 90 days of hire •Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation •Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, and reach while performing the duties of this job •Constantly required to handle or operate tools or controls, and reach equipment product for processing Working Environment: •Warehouse temperatures can vary widely based upon local weather conditions, and may occasionally exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit •Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions •Loud noise level when working in field •Ability to work in confined spaces •Should be open to extra hours, such as weekly overtime, in a fast-paced environment The IT Field Representative/Driver must have a flexible work schedule to meet our customer needs. At times, it may be necessary for you to work up to 14-hour days and up to 4-5 nights a week of overnight travel on out-of-town deliveries. Overnight travel includes premium pay and food/lodging expenses. A company vehicle will be provided for all work-related driving.
