Come out and CREATE with us this summer at Ghirardelli Square - August project of No-Sew Modern Mini quilts with special guest Robert Mahar Come and craft with SF Etsy on Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 4 to 8 PM in the Fountain Plaza of Ghiradelli Square! This month’s DIY Happy Hour will feature a miniature modern quilt project with special guest Robert Mahar. Utilizing colorful geometric felt shapes, you’ll craft a little no-sew quilt to hang on your wall. This class is free, but please register in advance so we can make sure there are enough materials for everyone interested in participating! As always, Grab a to-go beer at San Francisco Brewing Co. or snacks at the other local shops and sip along while we create with Robert. About the artist: Robert Mahar is a Bay Area based artist, designer and maker who develops and teaches imaginative crafts and clever do-it-yourself projects and products. He’s also a proud alumni of the inaugural season of NBC’s crafting competition show Making It with Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman. With an education in studio arts and art history, he has worked in a variety of creative fields including 13 years as an appraiser of modern and contemporary art.
