Spend the evening with Red Light Lit Austin and its collective of poets, dancers, musicians, comics, and artists for its August installment in the Native Hostel Parlor on Sunday, August 22, 2021, from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm as they explore the fantastic, colorful, curious, and circus-like qualities of love!
Hosted by Red Light Lit award-winning author Loria Mendoza and featuring Austin-based poets Ayjshané, Brooke NASA, e.a. toles, Hank Opal Jove, Meredith Johnson, Mr. Peeps, and Raphaella. Also featuring music by Lo Quiero, comedy by Laura Bettina, and circus-inspired performance art by The Hoopstress of Circle! Come ready for delicious drinks from Native Hostel Bar and a performative exploration of love, relationships, gender, and sexuality.
Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Doors are at 7:00 pm and show starts promptly at 8:00 pm. Space is limited and seating is not reserved. If you arrive after all seats are occupied, standing room is available. We kindly ask that you bring a mask to wear when not seated, and please do your best to observe social distancing protocol during the event to protect our audience and performers.
