The Art of Sunkissed Hair Retreat THE ART OF SUNKISSED HAIR DAY RETREAT Monday, November 14, 2021 10AM-5PM Ecomama Farms, Santa Ynez, CA NOURISH, NURTURE, CREATE - in a space that gives you the freedom to reconnect with your intuition as an artist and business woman. My intention with this retreat is to awaken all your senses, giving you the peace and relaxation you need to fully explore your self as a creative woman. When we’re working constantly behind the chair or on our business it can be easy to get lost in the everyday hustle, and soon we find ourselves disconnected and depleted. As women its so important to come together to reconnect with that inner sense of self, and bond with like-minded spirits who share the same passion for growth. This day is designed for you to receive education in a way that is more holistic - really connecting with body, mind, and spirit. Through yoga, meditation, connection, and therapy we will discover sides of ourselves that we often leave behind when we walk into the salon. My Balayage class, THE ART OF SUNKISSED HAIR comes to life as I share my personal art and passion of hand painting hair in the sunshine of the Santa Ynez Valley. Being able to learn in such a majestic outdoor space takes hair color education to a whole new level. Farm-to-table meals will nourish you body and soul, and of course being in wine country we have to pair our delicious meal with local wines. Relax as you take in the views of acres of stunning roses and sweeping mountain views. By the end of the day you will feel this weight lifted that you may have not even known was there. You will see Balayage and your career as a hair colorist in a new way. The way you connect with your clients and coworkers will change, because you now have the tools to express yourself in a way that is true to you. And the best part, you will create long lasting friendships with women who support your journey. RETREAT SCHEDULE 9:30AM - Check-in, make yourself at home, and get ready for yoga 10:00AM- Meditation & Yoga with our local teacher, followed by a sound bath and reiki with Kara. 11:00AM- THE ART OF SUNKISSED HAIR. Look, Learn, & Chill while Kara shares her signature Santa Barbara Balayage technique on a live model. 12:00PM- Farm-to-Table Lunch, and since we’re not working, why not enjoy some local wine ;) 1:00PM- Explore EcoMama Farms! There is so much to see. From fields of roses, adorable farm animals, sit by the tranquil farm, or shop they’re amazing products. This is your time to be. 2:00PM- Coffee & chat with Women’s Depth Psychotherapist as we talk about energetic boundaries with our clients. 3:00PM- Here’s where the magic happens! Our photographer Lauren McIntire will give us a full photoshoot with our Balayage model as she teaches you the best ways to capture your own beautiful photos. To leave with content of your own, Lauren will be available to take head shots of you and your salon team in the beautiful rose garden! 4:00- Theres always some sweet surprise before we say goodbye. We will close the day by sharing what we got out of this magical retreat, and spend our last few minutes connecting with new friends! This retreat will be very intimate so space is limited. This is a perfect opportunity to treat yourself or bring your coworkers or salon staff to share the experience. CANCELLATION POLICY My goal with my retreats is to offer experiences that are affordable for you to enjoy no matter where you are in your career. There is so much thought and intention that goes into every detail of this day, and we work hard ahead of time to make sure this is an incredible experience. All ticket sales are final.
