Waist Bead by Ayodele is returning to Los Angeles this weekend for Head Wraps in the Park! Yaasss!!! Waist Beads by Ayodele will be vending at the Head Wraps in the Park Festival - the brainchild of Fatimah Dodson of Runway Boutique and hosted this year at Grand Performances LA, this Saturday, August 14, 2021 from 11am-6pm. The Festival is a public event that will include an Afrocentric Bazaar of vendors, entertainment, food, headwrap tutorials, good fun and good people. This is a FREE and family-friendly event. There is no need to register for a waist bead appointment at this event, as at festivals, guests are received on a first come first serve basis. Please be prepared to wear a face mask while visiting/shopping at the Waist Beads by Ayodele booth and while receiving beads whether or not you are vaccinated. We want to ensure the safest and healthiest experience is respected for all guests and staff, so please pack your mask next to your hot sauce in your bag and ensure it covers your nose and mouth. If you are in need for a repair from a previous purchase, please bring your beads in a zip lock bag including your first and last name and best contact number and email, and how/where you would like your repair returned. Repairs are completed off site after the event, and either mailed or returned in person to be tied on at the next LA event. Her background includes 25+ years of experience as a Natural Hair Stylist, 14+ years in Management and Directing Youth & Community Development programs, business owner of Duafe Designs/Waist Beads by Ayodele since 2004, and Co-Creator of "Natural" - a Natural Hair, Skin, Beauty, & Wellness Expo. Ayodele uses her creative mediums to empower women, build a sisterhood, strengthen urban local and global communities, and celebrate her indigenous African roots. She is a wife of 17 years, and mother to 3 children.
