Large Bay Area Waterproofing and Restoration firm is seeking to fill full-time field positions. RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain and clean job sites to include picking up tools and equipment Secure job site each day to eliminate potential hazards Operating a variety of hand and power tools Handling of hazardous and non-hazardous materials Moving material, loading trucks and trailers, digging, cleanup, other general construction tasks as assigned or needed Set up and take down ladders, scaffolding, and other temporary structures Load/unload trucks and haul/hoist materials May assist with controlling traffic Assist carpenters and other trade Qualifications and Skills/Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older; High School diploma or equivalent excepted but not required Minimum of 0 - 2 years of experience in construction preferred but not required Valid California Driver’s License with a driving record within company established parameters Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedules Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency Willingness to travel to various sites and report to work upon short notice Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds of material and up to 90 pounds of material with assistance if requested Frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing Must have good verbal communication skills and be able to take orders and follow directions Ability to work some weekends and holidays, if requested
