WORK WITH MEK ENTERPRISES, INC. – WE ARE GROWING! Our Drivers/Movers are the public face of MEK Enterprises, trusted to transport and handle client belongings and engage with clients and co-workers in a friendly and professional manner. Our Driver/Mover position is responsible for transporting, packing, loading, and unloading through a variety of mechanisms. The Driver/Mover position calls for a significant amount of physical strength and stamina and performing all other responsibilities as directed by the Operations Manager as assigned. Job Requirements: • MUST be reliable • MUST be over 25+ yrs old for insurance purposes • MUST be detail oriented • Class A or Class B license preferred • Professionalism, customer service and positive energy to work with a team • Assist the warehouse team in item processing and pulling items for delivery • Able to lift and use all moving equipment efficiently • Packing, wrapping and marking/labeling items so they are protected while in transport • Remain customer service oriented and keeping a positive attitude at all times • Must be able to lift heavy items 25 to 100 lbs • Experience in driving 26-foot box trucks • Comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and company policies • Ability to bend, twist, walk and stand for extended periods to perform normal job functions • Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents Important Criteria: • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check and submit MVR from DMV • Must have reliable transportation to get to and from MEK offices or job sites • Must have valid driver's license (NO DUI’S/SPEEDING TICKETS or MAJOR INFRACTIONS) • Must speak fluent English • Exhibit ethical behavior in accordance with our Code of Ethics and Business Conduct to complete required training within the allotted time frame • May be required to work on weekends and holidays. May need to be "on-call" and last-minute jobs are possible. Hours and schedule may vary as the company continuously accepts reservations from clients.
