818 Day is held each year on Aug 18 to highlight the San Fernando Valley community from its amazing businesses to its one a kind locations
My Valley Pass, The San Fernando Valley’s #1 Visitors Guide is spearheading the valley-wide celebration of 818 Day. 818 Day is held each year on the 18th of August to highlight the San Fernando Valley community from its amazing businesses to its historic and one-of-a-kind locations. On that day, we celebrate our home and our community: the San Fernando Valley.
This year, there will be a ceremony held at Westfield Fashion Square on 8/18/21 to unveil the new flag for the San Fernando Valley. The flag design was a collaboration between My Valley Pass, The Valley Relics Museum and Westfield Fashion Square. This event will be held from 6:00pm – 8:18 pm on level 1 near the Fountain.
The mall’s fountain will also be transformed to pay tribute to the Valley. Joining the festivities will be 10+ local vendors from Hope Of The Valley to small mom and pop shops. The ceremony will also include movie cars on display inside the mall, 818 Day Cookies and other giveaways along with a DJ and other fun surprises.
