Learn to use alcohol inks and an aquash brush to create a beautiful poinsettia painting on Grafix dura-bright opaque white film. Join Korinne Carpino, globally known alcohol ink artist, to learn to paint with inks and an aquash brush. During this 2-hour workshop, you will learn to: use this brush to paint with the inks; layer inks to create texture and depth; break up inks with solution to create light and and movement, and use ink of varying values to create shadow and light. A design template will be provided. You will complete one 5"x7" painting which will be matted in an 8"x10" white, acid free mat, ready for presentation. This painting would also be lovely as a holiday card. Art experience level: Novice+ Instructor will provide all materials! Materials Fee due to instructor in cash at time of class: $8.00 Registration Fee: $47.00 Artisans is an artist co-op in downtown Mount Dora, Florida. We specialize in handcrafted artwork of all kinds. Within our gallery there is a small classroom in which we are offering a variety of classes that are fun and addicting. You will always be able to take home something you created in class. The classes are relaxing and intimate. Please arrive 10 minutes before the class starts. Downtown parking lots are within walking distance. Feel free to bring a non-alcoholic beverage.
