POLK COUNTY, FL — Bus delays in the Polk County School District area are a common occurrence at the beginning of each school year, staff said. The district wants to remind parents that bus drivers and students are getting settled into their routes during the first month back at school. Schools are refining their traffic patterns, so car rider lines and bus loading zones will be congested. PCPS has established a transportation call center to assist with questions about bus assignments, stop locations, delays, and other topics.
