Boy Bands Night Headlining Final 'Live At The Amp' Show Friday

GREENFIELD, WI — This Friday is the final "Live! at the AMP" concert in Konkel Park. Headlining the show is a boy band tribute that plays songs from the likes of NSYNC, the Backstreet Boys, One Direction, the Jonas Brothers and more. The Stangs will open for the show and The Boy Band Night will take it away as the headline act. The concert series started at the beginning of summer and has seen it through to August. Food and cold beverages will complement the show. Vendors will include: Pig Tailz MKE, Rose Gold's Bistro, Pina Mexican Eats and Wisconsin Fried Cheese Curds, according to a Facebook post from the City of Greenfield Department of Parks and Recreation. Boy Band Night was formed in Illinois in 2014. The band's manager, Kenny Braasch and Glenn Hudy formed the band and selected members. The group plays regular boy band hits such as the melodies belted out by Justin Timberlake in NSYNC and the hits from UK band One Direction, according to the band's website. Braasch, the manager for the band, is known for more than just boy band hits. He was selected as a contestant in the 16th season of the Bachelorette, according to a report from the Chicago Tribune. As for the opener: The Stangs are a husband and wife duo, Casey and Mandy Stang. The band plays R&B hits plus songs from Amy Winehouse, Adele, Tom Petty, Rhianna, Fleetwood Mac and more, according to its Facebook page. The Details: The opener goes on at 5 p.m., the headline act will start playing at 7 p.m. The concert will be held at the AMP band shell, located at Konkel Park, 5151 West Layton Ave in Greenfield.
