Beverly Scout Troop Food, Supply Drive At Dane Street Church

BEVERLY, MA — A Beverly Scout troop will be doing its part to help those in need in the city with a food-and-supply donation drive at the Dane Street Church on Aug. 22. The Troop 2 donation drive will be in the church's parking lot from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a rain date of Aug. 29. All donations will go to Beverly Bootstraps for distribution. Food items needed are peanut butter, boxed pasta, macaroni and cheese, canned vegetables, rice, cereal, tuna fish, spaghetti sauce, canned checked and soup. Other items needed are canned fruit, beans, shampoo, healthy kids' snacks, feminine hygiene products, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes and diapers.
