Slow Music Session Old Time & Irish beginners

Low Country Studios hosts a slow music jam session for folks who, are new to the music and, play guitar, banjo, dulcimer, mandolin, fiddle, and bass (acoustic instruments) and enjoy Old Time and Trad tunes. Goal is to keep it at the beginning level so people can become comfortable playing together and get the tunes in their fingers. We meet once a month. Three Old Time or Irish tunes are worked on at each session and tabs are provided for guitar, mtn dulcimer, and mandolin. This is very low key and slow tempo. Adults and children (accompanied by a parent) who want to learn with us are welcome. Focusing on meeting in parks and open spaces for everyone's safety. Meetings on third Friday's of the month from 11 - 1pm. If you are coming on your lunch hour you are welcome to bring a bag lunch and your instrument for as long as you can stay. Might be cancelled if raining. Hope to see some smiling faces there!
