Round Rock PD Seeks Suspect Accused In Assault Case

ROUND ROCK,TX — Round Rock police are searching for a suspect accused of assault at an apartment complex on North Mays Street on Sunday. Police said it received a call around 7 p.m. Sunday for an assault call in the 5000 block of North Mays Street, which is north of University Boulevard and east of the Round Rock Outlets. Authorities said around 8:30 p.m. a woman was found safe and believed the incident to be isolated. After searching the area for a few hours, officers said a suspect was unable to be found and cleared the scene around 10:30 p.m. Officials said the investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information on the incident are encouraged to call RRPD at 512-218-5500 or send anonymous tips online.
