Trinity Lutheran Church and School invites area residents to take advantage of a FREE Community Shredding, Recycling & Food Pantry Drop-Off Event on Saturday, August 28, 2021, from 9 a.m. to noon in the front parking lot at 1165 S Westmore-Meyers Rd, Lombard (northeast corner at Roosevelt Rd). Papers will be shred on-site and disposed of, recycling will be collected, and non-perishable food items and paper goods will be received. Food collected will help local families and individuals in need via the St. Vincent DePaul food pantry at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Lombard. Recyclable materials accepted include glass jars, aluminum cans, plastic bottles and containers, paper, cardboard, and scrap metal. Inquiries welcome at 630.629.8765 or [email protected].
