Press release from TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce: August 09, 2021 (Pottstown, PA) – The Graham Family and McDonald's staff were joined by TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce to commemorate the completion of the newly renovated McDonald's-Pottstown with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the 189 Shoemaker Rd, Pottstown location.  The dedication took place on Friday, July 30, 2021.   The renovation project was intended to bring in state-of-the-art equipment and improve the facility's operation as well dining options. Bruce and Marcia Graham proudly showed off the renovations, which began in February 2021.    Also in attendance were their children Michael and Sara, along with other family members and staff preparing for the soft opening. The Grand Opening is set for Friday, August 13, 2021.    Bruce and Marcia Graham bought their first McDonald's, located on High Street in Pottstown, in 1992. This restaurant quickly became home to their children Michael and Sara, who grew up in Pottstown. The Grahams have always been extremely involved in the local community through sponsoring, volunteering, scholarships, and more! Bruce loved his time on the Chamber of Commerce Board, holding his position for six years during the 1990s. Marcia has also held many McDonald's leadership roles, both regionally and nationally. Most recently, she was the President of the Philadelphia   Cooperative Marketing Group, representing 265 McDonald's. Bruce and Marcia have worked to grow their organization and now own 12 restaurants! Their son, Michael, and his wife, Robin, are following in Bruce and Marcia's footsteps and have been with the company for over 10 years. Sara joined the organization following her graduate studies. The entire Graham family is now working together and is excited to continue their work within the community.  TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce (TCACC), the tri-county region's business advocate since 1927, is a membership-based organization serving businesses in southeastern Berks, western Montgomery, and northern Chester Counties, as well as along the Route 422 Corridor.
