Original Evinrude Lightwin Outboard Motor This is a 1952-1954, 3 hp Evinrude outboard. This is a 2 stroke, 2 cylinder, manual start outboard with an internal gas tank. This motor rotates 360 as it is forward gear only. The engine is in original condition and was repainted and replaced decals. Mechanically it ran good, but has not been started for many years.. This motor came from an era where quality and craftsmanship took precedence over mass production and economies of scale. This would be the perfect motor to use as an icon to bring back nostalgic memories. The weight of this motor is only 35-40lbs and it is a twin cylinder making it a smooth outboard.
