J&J Service Professionals, LLC proudly offers the community with services in a wide variety of industries including but not limited to HVAC, Drywall/Painting, Home Remodel and more. J&J Service Professionals, LLC is in need of an experienced painting and drywall technician to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor. As a 1099 self employed contractor you will be offered a base rate of 40% commission on all jobs successfully completed. Our technicians are provided the opportunity to create a flexible schedule in order to meet their own entrepreneurial goals in addition to a consistent flow of work. This position is best suited for individuals with extensive knowledge in the construction industry who can work freewheeling to complete jobs in an efficient manner. Job Requirements: 1 year of relevant experience in painting and drywall.Have and maintain a valid state driver's license and reliable transportation as well as tools/equipment necessary to fulfill job requirements. Job Responsibilities: Hang and repair drywall; mud and tape.Prepare painting surfaces, remove fixtures such as doorknobs and light switch covers.Be able to drill new or tear out old drywall.Repairing cracks and any other damage to the drywall panels.Sanding down rough areas on the wall to create a smooth surface.Apply paint and finishes to various surfaces.Perform a variety of production tasks on job sites, including job site clean-up and fixture replacement.
