Vishay Applied Thin-Film Products is currently seeking a full-time Sr. Cost Control Analyst in Fremont, California, responsible for consolidated reports and analysis concerning costs. This includes operational financial reporting, bookings, inventories, manufacturing, labor, materials, profit planning and cost variance analysis. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. HOW TO APPLY: https://jobs.vishay.com/ Primary Responsibilities: Development and maintenance of standard manufacturing cost files for all manufactured products for pricing, inventory and scrap valuation purposesMaintains variable cost files and price/volume variance analysis by productResponsible for manufacturing cost/pricing developments used for OEM, distributor, and transfer pricingsEstablishes uniform and consistent procedures to control and report inventory valuations (materials, labor and overhead) including inventory revaluation and adjustmentsCoordinates development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.Directs labor fringe cost allocations and labor/material distributions and purchase price variance analysisAssist with periodic financial and internal control audits and the annual tax packageWithin internal controls is responsible for developing, interpreting and implementing financial concepts for financial planningPerforms other duties as assigned Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance3-5 years’ experience with increasingly related experience in cost/controllingStrong knowledge and user of Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook a mustMust have strong background with monthly financial close and preparing of financial statements, with increasingly working experienceKnowledge of ERP Epicor10 software desirableExperience in manufacturing environment preferredAbility to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple complex tasks in a fast-paced environmentDetail orientation, along with ability to prioritize and manage timeAbility to clearly present information via schedules, tables charts, commentary to managementExcellent verbal and written English communications skills requiredMust be willing to travel Vishay offers a comprehensive suite of benefit programs including health care coverage, financial support programs and other resources designed to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.
