TUSCALOOSA, AL — A police pursuit Monday involving multiple agencies began in Tuscaloosa County, before ending in southern Pickens County. Pickens County Sheriff Todd Hall said after the chase crossed over into Pickens County, several attempts were made to stop the vehicle and spike strips were deployed ahead of the chase. However, as officers continued to pursue the suspect vehicle, the driver lost control and the truck overturned before it reached the spike strips. Hall then said two people were arrested without further incident. He then pointed out that the driver of the suspect vehicle was already wanted for felony charges in Pickens County and will face additional charges as this investigation continues.
