Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 08/03/2021 212151134 Preliminary Information: On 8/3/21, around 2:06 pm, officers responded to 221 Cleveland Ave SW in reference to a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located a female with a gunshot wound. She was alert, conscious and breathing and transported to the hospital for treatment. Preliminary investigation indicates the victim, and her male partner were engaged in a dispute with a male suspect whom they appear to be familiar with. The shooting occurred as a result of the dispute.
