Formerly homeless, needs a car for safe travels

I'm newly housed from being in a shelter. I have a housing voucher but that's only for rent. The bus stop is about a mile down the road in the town I live in and it has no sidewalk so it's dangerous to walk and several people have gotten hit. Before all of this happened I lost my vehicle due to a repo and it was the best car I ever had. I would like to have my vehicle within 30 days, so August 31. The vehicle would mean so much to me and I also want to use it to help other women who need transportation, particularly the ones in the shelter where I used to live.
