Vocalist/Guitarist looking to form band

Hey Pittsburgh, I am an amateur vocalist and new guitar player who is new to the area and would like to form a music group. I don't want to advertise myself to be anything I'm not in this, by amateur vocalist I really just mean that I like to sing and want to do more of it lol. Similarly I am very new to guitar and am not shred cruz or anything, I just really like playing and am looking for an excuse to surround myself with other musicians. My goal with this project is to create an inclusive community of local musicians who actively contribute to each other's development, and then hopefully over time can start doing shows and record some tracks. Because of this I am looking for musicians at any level of skill to help out. So if you play guitar, bass, drums, or any instrument you're passionate about hit me up and we will see what we can do! I don't want to waste anyone's time so below I have a basic list of other qualifications I'm looking for. I know I'm not bringing a ton of experience to the table so this list is small, nothing against you if you don't meet these! -No Hard Drug Use -Must have time to practice at least once weekly, I'm looking for people who love music and have the drive to make music a larger part of their lives. Finally I thought it would be good to put some of my favorite groups. You don't have to like any of these bands but bonus points if you do! -Manchester Orchestra -Motion City Soundtrack -The Wrecks -Bayside -Bad Luck -Front Bottoms -Slaughter Beach, Dog -Have Mercy -Microwave -Cavetown -City Mouth -Born Without Bones -The Color & Sound -Rilo Kiley -Beach Bunny -Badflower -Remo Drive -Matt Maeson -All Get Out I definitely put to many of these but f*ck it lol. I am very easy going and open minded. I want to do my best to be a positive force to every single person who knows me. I am extremely driven and passionate, and I hope to meet some people who can shine a light on me a little bit too.
