All Star Garage Door has immediate opening for a garage door Service Technician position for Southern CA • Previous garage door experience ideal. • Mechanical experience or trade school training a plus. • Work experience or formal schooling from another field like auto technician, aircraft technician, HVAC, construction, or electrical/welding considered. • Willing to work 40 or more hours a week • Must have a clean driving record for company service van and company insurance • Passing of Criminal background check / drug screening is required • Starting wage based on your skill level and experience; starting range $20-$25 hourly rate based on experience + Commission potential. • Must be able to lift 55 plus pounds. Specific duties include servicing the following products: • Garage Doors • Automatic Openers & Radio/remote Controls • Repair and Maintenance of residential Garage Door and Motors (openers) • Installation work only based on past work experience and knowledge • Troubleshoot and repair broken springs, doors off track, annual maintenance service appointments, align sensors, program remotes, diagnose motors, install new motors, etc. • Some assistance with Off loading of delivery trucks at warehouse Location Coverage from Baldwin Park to surrounding areas of LA County, Orange County, San Bernardino County, and Ventura County; varies by daily schedule. Ideal candidate will have a good mechanical aptitude, experience with hand tools, have a strong attention for detail, and the ability to problem solve and think on their own. Candidate should possess good communication, honest character, and excellent customer service skills to deal with home-owners, and be able to work independently.
