The second is being offered by an insulation and window installing company that has been in business in Salem, OR since 1975 offering services in insulation, window installation, siding, duct and air sealing, ductless heat pumps and duct cleaning. Duties and Responsibilities for Roofing Laborers: Remove and replace residential composition roofing Remove existing roof Replace damaged sheeting Install underlayment Install flashings and vents Install composition shingles When roofing duties are not required, employee will work with the window and/or siding installation crew Skills and Qualifications for Roofing Laborers: Roofing experience is preferred, but not mandatory. Roofline candidates: Experience and interest working in a physically-demanding, labor-intensive position lifting up to 50 lbs. properly, repeatedly and on a daily basis Will be working on roofs and must not have a fear of heights Must have basic math skills for inventory counts; and English verbal and written skills to be able to read purchase orders and communicate with team members Be reliable, safe and a team player Prior roofing industry experience a plus Embrace the mindset of the “Make Money and Have Fun!” culture Job Details for Roofing Laborers: Temp to Hire M-F from 7am - 4:30pm with variations Pay $17.00/hr+ DOE In order to be successful in this position, the following is critical: Committed to being at work every day Committed to being at work on time Not afraid of heights Not afraid of hard work
