Now, let’s talk about the job requirements: 1. Give Your Personal Best - This is more than just a job, the work you do and how you view it is a direct reflection of who you are as a person. This is an environment for you to go face to face with yourself. A place to test your knowledge and be tested by what you don't know and improve each day. Your goal each day is to do the best you can with the accountabilities given to you. 2. Great Communication - You MUST be a great communicator. We don’t expect you to be perfect, but we always expect direct and immediate communication for whatever issues/shortcomings arise. 3. As the driver, you will be heavily relied upon by the rest of the crew in order for them to do their jobs. 4. Honest - When someone lies to make themselves look better or avoid getting in trouble...that is much worse than whatever mistake you may have made. We have ZERO tolerance for dishonesty and believe in growing from our honest failures (We all make mistakes). 5. Coachable - When someone claims to know everything, we know they’re full of crap. If you are not 100% sure how to do a task the way we want it done, just ask. Be eager to learn each day and be willing to change to fit our standards. 6. Landscape Knowledge - At the very least, we expect you to have a basic knowledge of landscape work and supplies - Drainage, Irrigation Install, Sod, Planting/Drip Systems, Power Tools, etc. Extensive landscape knowledge will not go unnoticed. For any knowledge you lack, you can make up for in eagerness to learn and master the task at hand. Overall, we don’t expect perfectionism or mastery of skills to qualify for this job. We do expect intelligence, energy, and a get-it-done RIGHT attitude. When you have questions, you will find the answers with a quick holler to the supervisor or manager. If this is a job that gets you so excited that you would even do it for free, we would totally accept that offer from you.
