Looking to make a little trio - guitar, bass and drums. I can sing, I'm not great but good enough. I can play guitar or bass guitar. I'm good enough at both. I'm terrible at drums. Looking to make something sound like a little retro band from the early 60s and make little dark and sad songs that are about 2:30. I guess imagine the most punk rock thing for 1961. Looking for a punk spirit. Know how to play your instrument "enough" but I'm not looking for any kind of Dream Theater level of technicality. If you can solidly play some Ramones songs, you are probably fine talent wise. FFO: Cliff Richard, The Shadows, The Crystals, Roy Orbison, The Shangri-Las, The Supremes, The Sonics, The Allah Las. (This is not for a cover band. Also I'm not interested in sounding post British Invasion, no Beatles or Stones sounding stuff. Also not interested in later 60s psychedelic sounding stuff either.
