Singer/bassist/guitarist seeks duo partner for winery gigs

Description
The crowd is enthralled and leaning in. You make eye contact and the other player(s) know(s) you're about to take a solo. They adjust the dynamics down a notch and simplify the vamp w/ absolutely no change in tempo. You lay down a phrase w/ plenty of space over where the groove locks in. Breathe, riff. Repeat w/ a little more flourish. Soon a smaller song is taking shape inside the one you're covering. It builds to a sweet release in just the right patter of exclamatory notes of emotion before the melody is brought back to voice again. Nothing in the world comes close to that auditory tightrope walk, and the feelings it engenders can have you walking on air for days. I mainly listen to jazz these days– but in the context of the classic rock cannon there are MANY great songs where a combo of the (dare I say it?) “jam” persuasion can also paint a sonic portrait of ear-tickling clarity and breath-taking impact. I have been there. I want to go back. I'm even ready to add to the miniscule knowledge I have gathered of some jazz standards and master their execution in service of this cause. The song is the thing and I live to serve (perform) the song. I just counted 216+ of them I have had to learn to play at one time or another. (Some forgotten, alas) If I am walking my bass while someone else plays that inspired solo – that's fine. The moment still matters. If you've read this far, you have an idea of who I am... I sing lead vocal (harmony if needed) and play acoustic guitar competently (to include soloing) as well as (prefer these days) bass. I make chord charts, decent-looking (border-line professional) music videos, set lists, band websites and will put in the effort to promote shows. I'm looking for an accomplished guitarist / duo partner who might not mind playing bass for a few numbers now & then when my guitar itch needs scratching. Before disbanding recently, my acoustic trio played the winery circuit pre-pandemic, and I'm looking to get back out there gigging ($) again. If you can add vocals – lead or back-up, that would be great – but I'm mainly looking for someone w/ really great guitar chops who can drive it home on an acoustic while I'm playing bass and singing... Okay, maybe an f-hole, if the tone isn't TOO electric. I am an old guy and my repertoire does have a lot of classic rock (which the winery crowd happens to LOVE). But I take good care of myself & don't think the years have been too cruel to me w/ most of my hair, teeth and waistline still intact, as it were. I also enjoy learning new material and will do the homework needed to make us sound good. All pro gear – to include P.A. Hard work will be necessary; fun will be mandatory. Let's see if we have the chemistry to make this work. For you smart online sleuths out there - my old band website is down while I'm rewriting it and preparing to re-host elsewhere. But my YouTube page gives a decent idea of what I'm about. Search 'bugsunplugged' if you weren't convinced by my sparkling prose & really need to know. Either way - I respect you and thank you for reading this far. Peace. (I am fully vaccinated.)
