Veteran needs help with generator & electrical on 1984 motorhome

I can't get the generator started. I also have something tripping a breaker inside when I'm connected to power. I'm new at this and not sure how to work the electrical system. If you can physically come help me, I will be very grateful and compensate you after the work you do helps makes everything work. If you're confident in your abilities, it's a no brainer. I'm a fair person, retired on a fixed income and not looking to pay ridiculously high rates at $200 an hour at an RV Shop! Thank you in advance!
