Position Overview: Under the direction of the Director of Warehouse Operations, the Warehouse Supervisor performs a variety of warehouse duties in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for training all new employees and overseeing their work. Duties include shipping and receiving product while maintaining a cleaned and organized warehouse. This position is also responsible for maintaining inventory control by staging product for deliveries (retail or commercial), store stock for all locations in Minnesota, and all outbound warehouse requests. Reviewing inventory for sales orders, perform all inventory transfers in Iridium, and answer any inventory related questions. This is a supervisory position. Responsibilities: Shipping & Receiving: Pulls and stages all deliveries, store transfer, warehouse transfers and shipping orders Accurately and concisely decipher sales orders, delivery notes, bills of lading and all other associated documentation Ability to accurately count, reconcile and maintain/manage stock levels and resolve inventory issues Label and verify each inbound and outbound shipment and check all items for accuracy Prepare stable loads and package cartons for damage free shipping Notify supervisor when discrepancies occur, over-shipments or substitutions have been made Accurately receive product and count all items unloaded and verify with packing list Unload, deliver and put away all parts and finished goods according to work instructions Loads all delivery trucks in the morning, using extensive knowledge of our misc. trucks and products. Builds products when necessary. Maintain fork lift charging and water levels. All other job duties, projects and tasks as needed Safety: Follow all safety policies Maintain Work Practices: Maintain work environment to 5S standards Punctual: begins work on time and returns from lunch and breaks on time All paperwork and database entries filled out completely and accurately Promote a positive team atmosphere with co-workers Janitorial Duties to include sweeping, mopping, trash, restrooms and maintaining overall cleanliness of warehouse, breakroom, restrooms, and offices. Supervisory: Capable of leading, training and instructing L1 and L2 employees with all warehouse job responsibilities Responsible for staffing, terminations, disciplinary actions, training, and developing subordinates Responsible for completing adequate performance documentation on time. Responsible for ensuring accuracy of timecards and approving them in a timely manner. Marginal Job Functions: Other projects as assigned Requirements Qualifications: Education: High school degree or equivalent required Experience: Shipping and receiving experience required A minimum 18 month exemplary work history as a warehouse associate with a high level of experience obtained Ability to effectively operate all equipment and computer programs associated with your job duties Other Requirements: Obtained forklift operator certification Ability to lift 35 lbs regularly, 50 lbs occasionally and 70+ lbs as a team lift or with material handling equipment Proficient computer skills required in MS Office products and Johnson operating system programs Benefits: We offer an excellent compensation package and team-oriented work environment with growth opportunities.
