$20/HR—Help Friendly Chevy Chase Couple—w/Cleaning, Tech or Fitness

Hello, We’re a friendly couple—a doctor married to a journalist—with busy lives. We live in a mid-sized house right off Wisconsin Avenue in a convenient Chevy Chase neighborhood right near the Washington, DC line. We have great access to Metro, bus and loads of free parking. Given our event-filled schedules, we’d love to have some energetic help around our place. Going forward this would be part-time work that could be regular is you’d like. We would definitely be flexible to your schedule, though weekday, weeknight and Sunday late afternoon or evening hours would be especially good. Specifically, we’re seeking three types of assistance (not necessarily from the same person.) If you’re interested, please indicate which (or all) of the three types of work you would like to do and why: --1) In-depth Cleaning & Organizing. With our children grown and away at school, most of the living areas of our house are almost completely free of clutter—making it relatively easy to clean. Still, we’d appreciate finding someone who genuinely enjoys making a home sparkle with natural cleaning products and who isn’t afraid of in-depth cleaning with rolled-up sleeves. This would be a great job for a real neatnik. Also, we’d love to have organizing help with our basement, closets, cabinets and files from someone with a very organized mind. --2) Fitness Buddy. We’re slender and already work out with a personal trainer two or three times a week for basic core and weight training. But now we’re greatly interested in stepping up our fitness program with a “fitness buddy” who keeps us accountable for meeting our own goals to enhance cardio and flexibility. That’s why it would be wonderful to find an upbeat, energetic person to motivate us in any one or more of the following areas: yoga, pilates, fast walking, swimming or any kind of dancing! --3) Computer Work. For our home office, we’d appreciate finding a tech whiz who really grasps and can convey practical information for use of various tech products and could give us a level of tech support for both our hardware and software. In an ideal world, we’d find someone with skills in one or more of the following: iPhones, WordPress, use of PCs, Microsoft Word, and/or graphic design. We’re located right off Wisconsin Avenue near downtown Bethesda. We have loads of free parking here.
