The 4-H is looking for hat donations. We are looking for new or gently used hats for our Build-A-Scarecrow Fundraiser Event Straw hats are especially great for this project. If you have hats to donate, please contact me. Below are the details of our Build-A-Scarecrow event (proceeds go to York 4-H) Thank you in advance to the community for your continued support! Build-A-Scarecrow Come to Markets at Shrewsbury on Saturday October 2nd 2021 (time to be determined) Great activity for children! All are welcome! Outdoor event! This is how it works... You pick out a scarecrow face and outfit. You stuff the clothes with straw and tie off the arms and legs. Then you pick a hat which will be glue sprayed on your scarecrow. Take your self made scarecrow home to enjoy. The cost is $10.00 for each scarecrow. All proceeds go to York 4-H clubs.
