ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER
DESCRIPTION
Under the supervision of the production manager, the Assistant Project Manager expectations include managing roofing, siding, windows, doors, and gutter installations. S/he will be communicating with customers one on one throughout the duration of their project.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage roofing, siding, windows, doors, and gutter installation projects
• Oversite of crews working on installations to include but not limited to collecting remaining equipment from all installations
• Attention to detail on orders, contracts, note taking etc.
• Highly developed communication skills both verbal and written
• Maintaining job site safety on all installations
• Collaborative relationships with customers throughout installation process
• Ensure the required company CRM software is accurate and updated with project information and updates
• Complete job measurements and conduct pre and post installation inspections
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• A valid license and a clean driving record
• Being bilingual in Spanish is a plus
• Two years of Project Management or Construction experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Zoom
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position will be responsible for providing oversite of contractors.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates outside 90% of the time within a defined territory.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• This is a physical role that will be expected to work outside within all elements. They should also be able to lift up to one hundred pounds and routinely climb up and down a ladder.
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and every other Saturday.
TRAVEL:
This position requires extensive travel within their territory and to and from other MLM offices. A company vehicle and gas card will be provided.
