Home Game Day/ Pop Up Part-Time Sales Associate Conrads College Gifts, the Buckeye State Store, is looking for a part-time sales associate at our various pop up tents around Columbus. The majority of these are home Ohio State football games where we will be setting up a large pop-up store outdoors. You will be helping to set up and tear down tents, tables and the display, helping customers with their purchases, and restocking and straightening the merchandise, etc. These dates and times are: 9/11/21 6am-8pm 9/18/21 6am-12am 9/25/21 TBD 10/9/21 6am-8pm 10/30/21 TBD 11/13/21 TBD 11/20/21 TBD Who you are: If you’d describe yourself as someone who is passionate about the Buckeyes, is an early riser, can do physical work, likes to be outside, and likes to work less often but for longer periods of time then apply now. What you bring to the team: -Effective communication and customer service skills. -Ability to readily adjusts schedule, tasks, and priorities when necessary to meet business needs (when on duty) -18 years of age or older -Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 75 lbs -Ability to stand outside for extended periods in varying weather conditions -A true passion to work with Buckeye fans around the world -Knowledge of Ohio’s sports teams (Ideally a fan as well) -1-3 years of experience in a retail store environment -Possess a valid driver’s license -Available during the hours and dates above Who we are: We’re a family-owned business that has been an essential retail mainstay in the Columbus community for over 50 years. This position reports to the Store Manager. A little bit more of what you would be doing: -Assist customers in-store, and help with product recommendations, questions, and processing sales and returns via the POS system -Ensure merchandise is ready for sale and restocked promptly. -Set up and take down tents, tables, chairs, racks, and other merchandise displays.
