Cultivation Technician We are seeking Cultivators to become part of our team! The Cultivation Technician starts as a novice position with little to no previous experience required but can extend to experienced agricultural employees with a focus on production. This is a predominantly physical/manual labor position. This job is based in our facility near DTLA. About the Role This is a labor-intensive job that requires hard-work, ability to work in a team, critical thinking, and strong attention to detail. Cleans and sanitizes cultivation spaces. Stages growing medium, irrigation lines, and trellises. Assists cultivation efforts such as pruning, defoliating, and transplanting. Daily care of plants, including watering, pruning, and inspecting the plants. Continuous, systematic cleaning and sanitizing of grow facility and machinery. Properly disposes of waste according to strict compliance guidelines. Track and trace clones, living plants, and plant waste as required by the state. Meets daily goals based on square footage, field productivity, and as determined by supervisors. Adheres to cultivation schedules and assists in maintaining inventory records. Assists to make sure plant population requests are met. Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older to apply Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry. Ability to stand, sit, kneel, and lift equipment or plants up to 50 lbs. for extended periods. Remain focused while performing repetitive functions. High manual dexterity. Ability to perform the job duties in hot and humid conditions in both the dark and under bright lights. Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment. Spanish speakers preferred. Have reliable transportation to the facility. Maintain enthusiasm, good attitude, honesty and a willingness to treat all co-workers with respect, despite challenging work conditions Must respond well to feedback and have a growth-focused mindset.
