The Lot Attendant position is responsible for the care and custody of the vehicles we impound, as well as facility maintenance. Position duties include preparing impounded vehicles for long term storage and abandoned vehicles for inspection. Lot Attendants also complete the monthly inventory of vehicles. Customer service is vital to this position as the lot attendant will escort vehicle owners within the yard to remove personal property from their vehicle or for vehicle inspection. Light landscaping and custodial tasks are required as needed. Vehicles are moved to designated areas throughout the storage lot using a forklift. Forklift certification training is provided by Apache Sands Towing! REQUIRMENTS INCLUDE: Ability to work outdoors (dealing with the elements of all weather conditions) Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends Reliable transportation to/from work Knowledge on how to operate a forklift preferred Basic automotive mechanical knowledge preferred Excellent customer service skills Basic math skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Apache Sands is a drug free work environment and applicant must pass pre-employment drug screening.
