Description

This striking little girl is Cider. As beautiful as she is, she can't stand the thought of any competition and she must be an only cat. The only reason we are trying to re-home her is because she is not good with our other cat. Out cat has been around other felines and has been fine, so we believe the issue is hers. - She's about 2.5 years old. She showed up as a stray about 1.5 years ago. Her ear was tipped so she'd already been spayed. -Very good indoor manners - great litter box habits. Uses scratch pads, not furniture. Big bonus! -She is shy and will take time to adjust so patience will be needed. Given her rough start she's come a long way and she still continues to improve little by little. -Not clingy. Not a lap cat at this point, but likes to be around people. Likes some head scratches and play time. Will purr like crazy sometimes. The non-clingy thing might be good if you don't want a cat that will take your spot in bed or decide they need to sleep on your head. -Up to date with vet. Fixed, vaxed, etc. -Easy to take to the vet. She freezes - as in fight, flight or freeze. -She is currently on medication as part of our attempt to acclimate her to our cat. She will not need to be on it if she is an only cat. We've not noticed any personality changes since she's been taking the medicine. If she needs to be weened from it, we will provide all remaining medication needed. It is simply mixed with her food. -We will include some food, her heated cat mat and toys. -The ONLY reason we are attempting to re-home her is because of her territorial behavior toward our cat. We're not sure how she would do with a dog. It's possible her issues are just with our cat, but I'd be very hesitant to chance introducing her to a home with another cat. Small re-homing fee $25. Please email with any questions. Thank you!
