The School of Rock in Downingtown is currently looking for qualified teachers for voice. This is the GREATEST JOB IN THE WORLD. You will work with kids one on one and in group settings, teaching them the skills required to become an excellent musician. We're looking for musicians who are charismatic, confident, and cool! Candidates should love rock music and be open to teaching tunes from the 1950s all the way up to the last Tool record. You should be a good singer, and someone who feels comfortable expressing what you're doing, how you're doing it, and why it works. Our students range in age from 9 years old and up, and include children and adults. You should feel comfortable working with all of them. Operating hours are Sunday-Thursday from 3-9 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. The ideal candidate would be willing to work 1-3 days each week. Weekend availabiliity is a plus but not required. If you are a working musician, or just a very talented teacher, you won't find a more enjoyable atmosphere to work in. Touring musicians welcome to apply. WE WILL BE FLEXIBLE WITH SCHEDULING FOR GREAT TEACHERS! You must be able to pass a background check. The pay scale varies with experience.
