FOUND black and white kitten at 6th and Polk

I was walking by at about 9 pm Mon August 9th and spotted a black and white young cat with a 'mustache'. Polk and w 6th, right outside Beauty Star Salon. Cat does not appear to be full grown and did not have a collar. I tried to ring the doorbell of the beauty star salon, whose steps the cat was on, but it was after hours, and no one was home. He/she was very sweet and affectionate after I gained her trust to come over. I hope s/he's not far from home and everything is fine, but I was concerned and unfortunately had to part ways with the cat where we met. Hope this baby finds their home soon, or gets a collar.
