A. FOR DELIVERY DRIVER APPLICANT - QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED: 1. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals; can understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; can write clear and grammatical reports and correspondences; can communicate effectively with customers and employees 2. Current valid Driver's license with a good driving record 3. Able to lift up to 50lbs without assistance 4. 1-3 years experience (preferred) 5. Able to drive pick-up truck with a trailer attached GENERAL DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Performs delivery service to customers based on an established route using company pick-up truck & trailer or 20" box truck • Communicates with customers regarding ETA on job sites • Reviews and confirms load for accuracy before leaving the company warehouse • Assists in maintaining a clean and orderly working environment both in the branch and delivery vehicles • Deliver orders using company delivery truck to customers in a safe and courteous manner • Keeps vehicle fueled in accordance to management instructions and business needs • Notifies management if needed repairs on company vehicles • Follow all safety rules and applicable laws • Responsible for maintaining and storing equipment (i.e. pagers, keys, fuel card) in designated locations according to guidelines • Accurately interprets various warehouse documents to determine items being delivered B. FOR WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE APPLICANT - QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED: 1. Ability to lift 50lbs 2. Strong communication (verbal & written) and listening skills 3. Bilingual preferred (English & Spanish) 4. Excellent sense of logic and number calculating 5. Self-motivated, detailed-oriented, and highly organized 6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (sense of urgency) and meet deadlines GENERAL DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Read and process work orders and related procedures. • Pulling hardware from specified locations • Modifying hardware when necessary • Loading orders onto customers & company vehicles • Unloading material with forklift. • Cleaning shop and yard areas. • Cleaning bathrooms • Checking in material that was received for accuracy and quality. • Turn in completed work orders. • Maintaining inventory counts for selected materials and keeping a detailed inventory spreadsheet. • Confirming orders for size accuracy, and continuously tracking and updating office staff. • All other duties and activities as assigned
