Currie Enterprises is looking to add to our team in the Welding Department, this is a permanent, full-time position as a Welder.
Candidates MUST possess the following skills / experience
-Minimum 1 year of experience-Certificate not required
-Must be able to weld mild steel and Nodular Iron, material thickness from.188" to.750" thick
-Must be mechanically inclined, have a strong mechanical aptitude and be able to work with minimal supervision.
-Must be proficient with common measuring tools (tape, square, etc.)
-Must be detail oriented with attention toward quality and safety.
-The ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
-Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
-Ability to work M-F from 7 AM to 4:30 PM
-Must be able to pass basic physical and drug screen
-Weld test will be given, so please bring helmet and gloves
-Pay is open
