Job Description - We are a family-owned cactus and desert plant nursery in Desert Hot Springs. Currently, we are looking to fill in a sales/labor position. As a Nursery Floor Associate, you will be providing friendly and helpful service to customers coming into the nursery grounds, creating sales orders for the cashier, loading plants onto vehicles, scheduling pick-ups, load delivery trucks and/or making deliveries, caring for the plant material on the grounds, and occasionally taking plant inventory. Requirements Candidates must have basic knowledge and familiarity of plant materials commonly used in landscapes throughout the Coachella Valley and be able to identify most local varieties of trees, plants, cactus, and agaves. Candidates must be able to withstand the seasonal outdoor weather conditions of the Coachella Valley. Candidates must have a valid state driver's license, as other duties include occasionally delivering plant material to customers. Candidates must be able to lift containers between 25 lbs to 50 lbs and maneuver containers between 50 lbs to 100 lbs.
